Surface preparation

A set of cleaning and conditioning treatments designed to remove contaminants from steel components. These processes can be contracted on their own to recover inventory, or applied as essential pre-treatment steps to ensure the adhesion of any subsequent coating.

Vibratory finishing (tumbling)Parts are processed in vibratory machines together with abrasive media. The controlled friction removes machining burrs, breaks sharp edges and leaves a uniform surface.
Rust removalA chemical treatment formulated to remove rust and mill scale, returning the surface to clean metal while preserving the integrity of the part.
DegreasingRemoval of cutting oils, stamping greases, machining fluids and storage residues that would prevent a coating from adhering properly.

Can I order cleaning services without a subsequent coating?

Yes. Rust removal, degreasing and vibratory finishing can be requested as standalone services to clean components or recover parts that rusted in storage.
